My friend Hovik passed away today

Even though I only got to know him since last December, this kid was truly an inspiration. He was in the last stages of lung cancer, and he battled it out the best he could. In this little amount of time, I shared so many wonderful memories and conversations.

I will forever be grateful to him for making me realize how truly we blessed when we have our health, and how important having the love of family really is.

RIP Hov, thank you for being in my life. Thank you for all the laughs even when you were in so much pain. May your eternal rest be peaceful.

Thanks guys. He was only 26. In April he was showing signs of recovery, but by May things turned for the worst and his cancer spread. Cancer sucks!

Thanks brother. Sorry to hear about your friend. This past Sunday was the one year anniversary of my uncles passing from cancer also. I know there are a few people on this board who have been affected by the disease as well. I pray we can find a cure one day soon.

My sincerest condolences. It's hard to loose a friend, especially at that young of an age (I know first hand what that's like).

I knew hovik as well, he was my basketball coach for homenetmen for a a year or 2 way back in the day (2004 if i remember correctly.) even after the team broke up i'd still see him around often and always had a smile on his face when he saw us. I had the utmost respect for him as he did for me and my friends.

he was such a great guy, he's truly been missed.
