| Oh, sorry. I didn't specify what I was asking for.
I'd like folks to pick one deep cut from each of those bands, not one song from just my list.

| Hmmm...
Queensryche - I was gonna say "NM 156" but that's sorta considered a minor classic, so I guess I'll go with "Neue Regel" Judas Priest - "Solar Angels" Iron Maiden - "The Clansman" (yes, really) Black Sabbath - "I Witness" Dream Theater - n/a (not a fan) Fates Warning - n/a (not a fan) Megadeth - "Kick the Chair" Metallica - "Disposable Heroes" Testament - "Hail Mary" Slayer - "Hate Worldwide" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Except that to me DH isn't too much of a deep cut.

I guess not but I was kinda goin' by the idea that it was never released as a single or became what you'd call a "hit." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Yeah. Just seems like those all MoP tracks are kinda treated as sacrosanct. Like Metal Hammer had their own tribute album to just that one Metallica album.

| Ooops.
In that case...
Queensryche - I 'll stick with Surgical Strike Judas Priest - Fever Iron Maiden - Remember Tomorrow Black Sabbath - Zero The Hero Dream Theater - ? (only own 1 album by them) Fates Warning - The Calling Megadeth - Dance In The Rain Metallica - Through The Never (this is difficult;I don't know if there really is a deep cut on those early albums) Testament - Reign Of Terror Slayer - Praise Of Death

| Queensryche - "The Killing Words/The Whisper" Judas Priest - "Blood Red Skies" Iron Maiden - "Judas Be My Guide" for sure Black Sabbath - "Ancient Warrior", honestly anything with Tony Martin. Dream Theater - "Entire WDaDU" Fates Warning - "Shelter Me", Inside Out in general. | |

I know it. I was struggling with that one. The old stuff seems highly celebrated (and rightly so), but I just can't find enough quality post-Black album outside of cover songs to even mention.

Dream Theater - "Entire WDaDU" Yeah, that's pretty much where I am too. I LOVE that first Dream Theater album and many seem to dismiss it. The keys are just excellent on it to me and all the songs work.

| I'm not 100% sure what a deep cut is, but I'll take it to mean a song that was not a single, had no video, was not the title track, the album opener nor an epic closer.
Using that, I've got:
Queensryche - Take Hold of the Flame (was actually a single) Judas Priest - Savage Iron Maiden - Back in the Village Black Sabbath - Falling Off the Edge of the World Dream Theater - Home Fates Warning - We Only Say Goodbye Megadeth - Tornado of Souls Metallica - Bleeding Me Testament - C.O.T.L.O.D. Slayer - Altar of Sacrifice

To me, it's also one that has not been played live very much. - Quote :

Nice! - Quote :
- Megadeth - Tornado of Souls
To me, that one is not a deep cut because they play that live at pretty much every show.

Yeah, I wouldn't know. I last saw Megadeth 19 years ago, and I don't own any of their live albums. I was actually thinking it must be a popular song.
