I enjoyed that Meat Puppets album much more than I expected too. So much that I might actually keep it. I didn't know they sang the song 'Backwater'.

That Alias disc however is slick, melodic AOR poop. Ick. Anyone want it?

That's the Alias album with the singer from Sheriff isn't it? I had that a long time ago and it was way too slick for me too.

Yes. According to my research, it's ex-members of Sherriff and Heart. Had I known that before the purchase, I woulda passed and saved myself $1.97. The cover looked cool though.

My wife liked that band Sheriff and I hated them, still hate them. Now that I think of it, I hated Alias who had a hit song which thankfully I cannot remember.

I believe the "hit" off of ALIAS (which was only a minor one) was called "More than Words Can Say" or something to that effect.

I got a promo copy of that tape years ago when I was music criticking (sp?) for my college newspaper. I hated it and thought of running a one word review ("BARF!") but eventually decided to simply ignore it entirely.

Well, that song is on this album. I will not comment on it's claim as a "hit".
