Haven't heard any albums of Rush between Counterparts and Sankes N Arrows. Any good? Snakes N Arrows IMO is better than Counterparts. Also if any of you are voting Rock in Rio which studio do you think is best?

I'm a big Rush fan but mostly the older stuff so I cant give you much help on this. I'd say "Rush In Rio" cuz it has older stuff on it.

Snakes & Arrows and Vapor Trails are about tied with me, I voted for S&A by a small margin.

Vapor Trails was such a great comeback and is in my top three Rush albums.

Coming from the major non-Rush fan... who has heard most of the discography, yes. 'Vapor Trails' was pretty enjoyable stuff.... but it seemed too streamlined somehow.... like if they could have taken some of the more atmospheric stuff on 'Test for Echo', applied it to the former, maybe toss an epic in there............. you'd get..well, you'd get a top Rush album. Which I might actually buy and keep. I guess I would vote for one of the ones I mentioned but 'Test for Echo' does have some pretty goofy, awkward stuff on it.

Test for Echo is an amazing album IMO. I mean it has the song Virtuality on it which is in my top 5 Rush songs ever...
