Top 5 underrated vocalists in metal

I am not good at these 'underrated' type things b/c I do not have any 'metalhead' friends, read mags, etc. BUT some vocalists I really like but do not hear mentioned too often are:(off the top of my head)------
--Urban Breed (Tad Morose)
--Ted Pilot (Fifth Angel)
--Michael Grant (Legend Maker, Onward)
--singer for Angel Dust (name escapes me right now)
--and i really like the vocalist for Savage Messiah (can not recall his name either)

Roberto Tiranti/Rob Tyrant (Labyrinth)...reference: The Shooting Star (demo)
Blackie Lawless (W.A.S.P.)...reference: I Am One
Silvio Massaro (Vanishing Point)...reference: Surrender
Teemu Koskela (Winterborn)...reference: Wildheart

Underrated you say? Well that to me knows not acknowledged enough for their skill....my top five would be:

1. Glen May (Tyrant)
2. Mike Vescera (Obsession and a ton of other bands)
3. Marco Hietala (Tarot)
4. Carl Albert (Vicious Rumors, Villain, Ruffians)
5. Urban Breed (Tad Morose mainly)

Honourable mentions go to Tim "Ripper" Owens (getting slagged as a Halford clone and generally inferior singer) and Tony Martin (for constantly getting ignored yet being an AMAZING vocalist).

Good call on Salinas, guy has amazing pipes.

yep, Chris Salinas, if you're going to listen to a Tate clone, he's right near the top. Zero Hour is a great band..Power of Omens is INSANE, but not incredibly memorable except for that epic on their first one. Of course, I haven't heard the second one yet.

Urban Breed is great, but he's almost the most 'known' on the list here....not sure about him being too underrated... many people get into the bands he's in, unfortunately, simply because he is singing for them.

Greg also sings some backup on Halford and Bruce Dickinson's solo albums.

Englund is a cool singer. It's too bad I'm mostly bored by Evergrey..He does make their second one almost worth listening to.

Yes, Dirk Thurisch is an awesome vocalist. I agree 100%. I wonder what he's doing now. What is Angel Dust doing for that matter? I thought their last four albums were all stellar.

Jon Stewart of Slauter Xstroyes is amazing. All the spontaneity of King Diamond but with a ton more strength and charisma.

I would not call Grimmett underrated. I think the metal community have widely praised him for his work in Grim Reaper and rightfully so.

I guess. Well, I did acknowledge that people would actually know of him and maybe agree. I would still say he's underrated...just not within the most underrated.
