I usually dont care too much for female vocals in metal but there are a few that pull it off nicely.

I don't care for female vocals in metal for the most part, but the only one I can think of that I cared for was Nina Llopis. Metal? Maybe not, but definitely punk/hardcore.

I can only think of Pat Benatar and she is a rock singer...

I love female voices in metal. Always have.

Great lists so far! I'd have to add Nancy Jo Mann from Barnabas (great voice!). I'd throw Johanna from HB in there. She has a very nice voice. Also, the ladies from Asher (CA), even though they don't "sound" very metal, their voices blend well w/ the melodic metal sound of the band.

I'm just not a big fan of most female fronted metal bands. I don't care for all that operatic, gothic stuff.

It seems that many don't prefer female vocals in metal. Even back in the day, I was always in the minority with my friends. I loved Chastain and Warlock just as much as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest ... but no one else really was into this stuff like I was.

Nowadays I tend to really be into female fronted bands. I would say out of my top 20 favorite bands - at least 25% of them are female fronted.

I have a lot of respect for females. So naturally, I love them in my metal.

By the way, I am not implying that if you don't prefer female vocalists that you have no respect for females. Don't take me the wrong way anyone, okay?
