| Hi. A mutual friend I have with Les Claypool of the legendary band is reporting a new tour starting in July and a new album by the band sometimes in 2011. It has been 1999 since the band has released a new album of material. Rock On Les Rock On! | |

I actually like Primus and have one of their albums (but they're not a top fave). Which one do you have? Primus was kind of an introductory band that got me into a whole slew of different junk. Like somehow I discovered a lot of surf bands thru Primus...not really sure why though. | |

Sucks that the tour isn't coming here, but I'm just glad to see them back. Plus they've got Jay Lane, the original drummer. | |

I actually like Primus and have one of their albums (but they're not a top fave). I got their greatest hits disc a few years ago ( The Least Worst Of or whatever it was called) as a new release and enjoyed it quite a bit. Based on the strength of their hits, I picked up Sailing the Seas of Cheese, but didn't care much for it. I think for me, Primus will be one of those bands that I don't need to dig any deeper than the hits.

 My fave from them too (of what I've heard). I'd say "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" is probably their next best though. | |
