It amazes me when someone digs out these old threads. Now, of

I just don't like Blaze's voice and I think he was the wrong singer for Maiden - both X and XI have some good songs on them. I would much rather listen to the versions of Clansman, Sign Of The Cross, Futureal and lord of the flies with Bruce singing (and I usually do when I want to hear those songs). I tried to give X another chance last week and I couldn't get past Blaze's voice on the songs. I also don't like the rpoduction on those 2 albums, it sounds very weak to me

You know what? I understand completly. I didn't like Blaze's voice in Maiden either and would love to hear X Factor and Virtual IX re-done with Bruce kind of like Anthrax did when they had John Bush do some of the Joey era songs.

Actually Fozzy wrote it, but Iron Maiden bought it while Fozzy was imprisoned in Japan. When they escaped they recorded their own version.
