Obviously the older folks here will already know about this, but some of the younger ones might not.
Yes, it's true. Before he became known for his saccrine-sweet crooning and came to epitomize 'soft rock', Michael Bolton was an honest-to-god Hard Rocker. Bruce Kulick, who would eventually play for KISS, was originally a member of Bolton's band.
Oddly enough, Bolton's voice fits perfectly with the hard rock style. No matter your opinion of him, you must admit that he is a talented vocalist.
Of course, it wouldn't be long until he dropped the entire rock genre altogether and went for the ultra-sugary soft pop he's known for today.
Am I the only one who finds it kind of funny that the poster here is only 34 years old and was not even around when Bolton was a rocker or even a well known pop star?
