Wow, where'd you dig these guys up. Sort of a mix of Soundgarden and Corrosion of Conformity. Not bad but were a 2nd tier Seattle band.

Yes def sounds like early Soundgarden and more on the metal side then grunge. I actually ran across this on one of my friends mixed cds. Thought it was pretty rad.. I need to hear more but I like a lot.

Yea, that's kinda where I remember them from. I remember MTV playing Gruntruck on 120 minutes or whatever that "alt-metal" show they had. I think they were featured on an episode of Bevis & Butthead too. I pretty much dismissed them then (as I did with all that grunge stuff at the time) but this doesn't sound half bad.
I know I used to see their discs in the cut-out bins all the time, but of course if I went looking now, they'd be nowhere to be seen.

Gruntruck is okay. I probably wouldn't buy it though.
Then again, I'm not a fan of Soundgarden. At all.

Gruntruck were ok. They were like a cross between Soundgarden and Helmet. I would buy it used.
I think "My Sister's Machine" were better

I also hear a little Alice in Chains in there too. Have you ever heard Nudeswirl? Listening to Gruntruck sorta reminds of them. Same kinda vibe.

Being the huge Kamelot fan that I am - you'd think I'd be into Conception too. However, up until today - I had not heard them.
I can definitely tell that's Roy Khan too. Wow ... this is incredible!!!
I need to pick up every last Conception album!!!
Would I buy Conception? This is the kind of stuff I buy most! So yes, of course I would!!

Yep!
I have several Hellacopters discs. Some of them are a little too retro but others are great sleaze/glam. My favorites are By The Grace Of God and Rock And Roll Is Dead.
