I saw one of their albums in Hastings a while back for just pennies. I passed on it as I had no idea who they were, though it looked metal.
Now I'm kicking myself. Dangit!

No, I was referencing the "vocals"; I have a different definition of the word "singing".

I can understand that, although you can understand this guy pretty good. They are def on the heavier side and closer to death metal so I can understand where you are coming from, I guess.. With Crematory there is much more diversity to the music and more positive to come out then for me to be turned off by some heavy singing. I love the guys vocals for the heavier songs... What do you think of these songs.. These are why of love Crematory.. HOOKS...
Some of my favorites by the band...

Im with all you guys on the vocals, it turns me off as much as the last guy. Crematory is about the only exception because they have more to offer and they're tons of hooks in Crematory songs... I posted those songs off their new album Infinity..
Next band coming soon.....

There are very few bands where I can tolerate growling. Epica & Hollenthon are two I can think of.

I can tolerate them if the music has a lot to offer especially in bands like Crematory, Into Eternity, Scar Symmetry, old Amorphis, bands like those.. As far as death metal vocals go I can't listen...

Not for me, I thought that they were boring.
One group that I wanted an opinion on was these guys
I've avoided this band, they looked to spoofy for my taste, but now that I have checked them out, I think they write great songs plus I love Queen and Sparks and they remind me a bit of both

Not my particular style of music so I rly can't relate to it. Not a bad song but nothing I would buy...
