I agree finding cds sucks nowadays. If it isnt popular it seems to be looked over and thats just dumb.

I love Thornley one of my fav modern bands and Iam Thornley has a killer voice. That album actually is a step in a different direction compared to his last release which was pretty hard...
If you liked those clips def check out Big Wreck

I'm not sure about Thornly. I could go either way depending on what I hear next. Kinda weird for me.

I liked the first song and then the next two didn't do it for me.

That second album is def a resemblance of Ians old band Big Wreck which is much more raw... The song "Might be the End" has one def Dave Gilmour inspired solo...

I think you would like the debut, much harder and straight forward rock with some great vocals and melodies...
Thornley
Damn Ian sounds so Chris Cornell like....

The second song isn't bad but to answer your question, no I would not buy this.
I'm pretty sure MetallicBlaze would though.

Yeah, Shiny Toy Guns has been on my radar for years now.
I keep watching them. Never have become a fan though. But I like em.
At any moment I could dive into their catalogue and become a die-hard fan. This might in fact happen. Cause those songs posted are even better than I remember of them.

I really dig these guys and Im not the biggest electronica kind of guy at all. There is just something about these guys that interests me. The songwriting for one is stellar IMO..

I'm really starting to dig this thread even though I don't like most of the bands you're posting.
Like you, my tastes are all over the place so odds are eventually you're going to post some band I've never heard of that rocks my socks off so keep it up Metalrob!

Very good song-writing skills. Very talented band. Good stuff here.
They actually blend many genres together to make their sound. It's a hybrid of sorts between 80s new wave, synthpop and alternative rock. It works well for them!

I like that first Dommin song but the second one sounds like gothic Stray Cats. WTF? The third one was just kinda boring.

I streamed this album yesterday, but there really isnt that much on youtube but those 3 clips. The album is more like that first song and is more uptempo. Just wish I couldve put on some of the top notch tracks...
