| I expected better from that awesome lineup. It had a few songs I enjoy though. I wish they had stuck it out with Glen Alvelais for an album or two as well. | |

| It's a good album simply because Testament is a great band!
They are one of my all time favorite bands! Every album they have ever released is good.
I have purchased everything they have released (with the exception of live albums and greatest hits)
However, having said that - I must say that "Low" is tied with "The Ritual" as their worst album.
Still very good though. So don't be fooled by my low placing.
1. The Legacy 2. The New Order 3. Practice What You Preach 4. The Formation of Damnation
*small gap*
5. The Gathering 6. Demonic 7. First Strike Still Deadly 8. Souls of Black
*another small gap*
9. Low 10. The Ritual | |

9. Low 10. The Ritual Why is Souls of Black so low for you? That album to me is Testament at there very best. The Gathering and Souls are my 2 fav from Testament... The Ritual, Practice and Formation are great.. Legacy and New Order fail in comparison, the hooks just arent there...

What? THE PRODUCTION IS THIN. Yeah, what? Do you have a real stereo or are you listening through the speaker in your PCs monitor? There is nothing thing about the production on Low.

| Great album. Especially considering that it is commonly held opinion (by people who think they know metal, but don't) that 'grunge killed metal' and that 'metal was dead' in the mid-90's. I was listening to this cd as I read that opinion in an article. Everytime I spin it, I think about that and just how awesomely metal it is. (but I digress) | |

If i didn't have a real stereo then i would say the same about all their albums! What's with the attitude? Did i insult your mother??

There is nothing thin about that production. If it is, then I have built-in woofers in my ears.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the original version. It's dirty, gritty, and balls-out heavy. I think it sounds great.
