Michael Jackson's guitarist. She makes incredibly disposable dance pop-rock laced with shredding EVH inspired solos dropped in the middle of them. I recently heard this on the radio, pretty surreal. I found it hilarious and entertaining. It's so terrible, but maybe it will help women get out of their bizarrely sexist anti-"guy stuff" (like guitar playing) rut.

Some station my daughter listens to was playing her and I was only halfway paying attention. I thought they had accidentally gone to another song when the solo kicked in.
I'm guessing she doesn't really know much about the groups in the posters.

check out the instrumental "highly strung" by her. Steve Vai also plays on the tune with her. There is a video of it on youtube. I would post it on here, but don't know how to.

Can't say i like the music but at least she is exposing rock guitar to the Radio Disney generation. She is like Avril Lavigne, but with talent.

She is an amazing Santana influenced guitar phenom. There is a post on here somewhere if you do a search. She has amazing skills which really arent shown on her album. I suggest digging on youtube where she plays tons of blues...

Orianthi is an amazing artist but beware when you buy this album. This is pop music none the less... Its like Taylor Swift meets Avril with some super guitar work thrown in there. I enjoy the album though for some of the guitar work.

Not really shred solos, more along the lines of Santana. Just tasteful licks.. Great cd though...

Yeah, it's not shred at all and it's kind of odd.

Right at the beginning of that song, I wanna say "SHUT UP AND KISS ME!!"
I'm gonna have to repent for this.

It's pop with a little bit of guitar flare...
I'd rather listen to Prince.
