| Thanks. Cool, isn't it?
This went on for about 5 minutes. Dad kept feeding his son. BTW, those are totally unretouched photos taken through my kitchen window. I'm really pleased witrh how well they came out.

| Nope. My camera sits on the kitchen window sill. All I did was pick it up and shoot. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| My son's Cub Scout pack had its year-end campout this past weekend. The first night (Friday) got washed out due to bad weather but we were able to come back on Saturday, set up, do all of our activities and sleep in our tents on Saturday night. Some highlights: We managed to squeeze in the Fishing contest on Friday night before the skies opened up again and washed out our sleepover plans. My son didn't catch anything but then he'd never fished before, either. Saturday afternoon, setting up the "village" for our epic "Cowboys Vs. Indians" water-balloon battle. Saturday afternoon we hiked to the top of Black Rock Mountain. The boys stopped at the summit for a group shot. The view from atop Black Rock (yeah, it was a LONG way down...) My son modeling his brand spankin' new Pack 9 t-shirt. "Tent, sweet tent." Saturday night was the first time I'd slept in a tent in over a dozen years, and my son Matt had never slept in one at all. He slept great, but I woke up the next morning with muscle aches in places that I didn't even know I had muscles. Ouch. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Aside from the backache and a couple of bug bites, yeah, it was a good time. The hike up that mountain wasn't too bad for me but it damn near killed a couple of the other parents. I overheard one Mom saying to her son, "(Gasp, pant) You realize (gasp) that I am (gasp) NEVER (gasp, pant) going to do this (gasp) AGAIN!" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Great pictures Keith, I cant wait til If I have kiddos to do sh!t like that with them. Shaved my head and donated 13 some inches to locks of love organization earlier this week. I wish I could somehow meet the kid that gets my hair but feels good all the same knowing its going to a good cause. | |

| Looks good, mate. You've done a good thing there, donating your locks. I figure if I ever shave my hair off, I'll probably do the same. _________________ | |

Do you guys with long hair get bothered by people constantly telling you to donate your hair? I had a conversation with my nephew who has long hair and he said it's getting annoying that people keep telling him to donate his hair. Yea, it's a noble casue and he's a good kid that will when the time comes, but damn, can't a guy just have long hair without the guilt trip? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. It's just another way for people who do not like longhairs to bag on them. When I get my haircut I'll donate it.

I used to get told I should shave my head for charity, but after it became clear I wasn't going to be doing that, the subject was dropped. I think you're always going to get a little bit of bother when you grow your hair - especially when you're younger - but after a while, people seem to move on. The older you are, the more people just accept it. _________________

| Was coming home earlier today when I saw a wild turkey on the opposite side of the road. Knowing (or thinking) I had plenty of room to drive past it without harming it I proceeded to go. As I got closer the stupid thing started to run I swerved out of his way but he tried to fly and ended up smashing right into my driver side mirror breaking it and putting a nice little dent in my door. And to think I just wanted to stay home today...... _________________ | |
