Our tech guys know what they're doing. I've got a couple videos that were shot during worship that turned out really well, I may post 'em just to see what people think.

It's been almost a year since I played around with my webcam and I got this one of my mug:



I have my dad's old recliner in my room, takes up a lot of room (I can barely move around in there, but if it ain't so damn comfortable when watching TV or foolin' on my computer). It wasn't planned to have my metal posters in the picture, just a cool coincidence. The red arrow is my Iron Maiden-Aces High poster (one of the only posters left from my middle school years), blue points to Axel Rudi Pell-The Masquerade Ball (came with the CD), green points to Iced Earth-Dystopia (again with the CD and also came with a shirt from my preorder)), and purple points to Helloween-7 Sinners (also from preorder with shirt and it's signed by the band).

You send me that Aces High poster and we'll be BFFs.

When I was a young teenager (about 12) a friend and me went to the dissabled veterans thrift store and I found some tapes and a good number of posters:

Iron Maiden-Aces High
Iron Maiden-No Prayer For The Dying
Irong Maiden-Fear Of The Dark
Slaughter-Band Photo
King Diamond-His Scary Face
Skid Row-Band Photo
Alice In Chains-Band Photo
and a few others I can't recall

Despite the fact I thought I saved them all, Aces High and No Prayer are the only ones I still have. It's the only band memorbillia I still have left from my early metal years so it ain't going anywhere .

You should frame those Maiden posters. Looks like it is in really good shape. My posters from way back never made it much out of my teen years since I was always moving them around and never stored them properly. What I wouldn't give to have the velvety AC/DC Highway To Hell poster I had. That thing was glorious and depending on the person either the coolest thing ever or the most tacky. They knew how to make posters back in the day.

I'm no longer the only guy with long hair at my work (two other guys have it) so now I plan on having the longest goetee. It's growing nicely and I've had it for about a month or so and it's starting to hang past my chin (about a half inch). By my birthday it should be the proper length:

Our recent trip to Barbados. The girls are getting older, so we're able to do some different things.



This was a surprising affordable VRBO beach house on the West Coast. We had a blast.






Eating on the balcony, overlooking the Caribbean Sea








This cave is called Animal Flower Cave. It's on the North Point of Barbados where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic. Billy Ocean had a scene from one of his videos shot in this spot. The Color of Love was all filmed in Barbados.






We went snorkling with turtles, a reef and a sunken barge. Very cool. I'd never gone snorkling. It was a highlight.

On my recent Maiden travels, I went to the house of a serious collector in the fan club club. He has a basement shrine to metal and has some amazing pieces and memorabilia. Those two are VERY cool (I was geeking out when I saw them). I took a couple pictures (well, a LOT of pics of his collection.) The first is the painting of the original cover of Savatage's Power Of The Night (before it was changed per record company request). The second is the original painting (the one used for the album cover) of Gutter Ballet (he has it on display in his living room).

Like to see some more of that collection!!
