| I'm sure that most here probably don't like this early 90s hard rock/hair metal band. But are there any fans? For some reason I've always liked these guys. I like their vocal harmonies and their use of excessive acoustic guitar. They also were pretty proficient song-writers IMO -- moreso than a lot of the pop-metal slop of the times. | |

| Great hooks...great melodies and harmonies...but kinda wears thin after a bit...certainly better than a lot of other bands at the time. |

| You guys are better peps then me. Unlike alot of folks I liked alot of pop/hair metal bands of that era but I hated Nelson. By the time they came down the pike, the whole pop metal scene had become a cliche, the rocker, and the second single the power ballad, the perfect hair, the perfect image, by the time this band debuted I was sick to death of these type of bands. | |

| My wife loved these guys. And I love her. However, she has horrible taste in music. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

This. I might like them better now then when they came out if I took the time to listen. |

| I had one of their CDs for a short time. Didn't do much for me so I trade it off to Hastings for their four used CDs for one new CD deal. Funny thing was, I bought the CD from Hasting's in their 99¢ bin only a week or two before I sold it back to them.
From what I remember of this CD, it was keyboard-y pop rock with no real meat to it. Lots of ballads. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I actually saw these guys in concert back in the day. Not my shining moment sitting there with a bunch of pre-teen girls. I decided at that point they weren't as cool as I thought. I remember that the twins dad was Ricky Nelson. Anyone remember Ozzie and Harriet? | |

| They were a short step above TRIXTER on the...ick scale.....BUT over the years I have grown to appreciate them more...I think it was the glut of that sort of thing that soured me on them...Great AOR band...their 2nd cd was much better than 'After The Rain" for sure... _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? I have to agree with this but I guess anyone who had long hair was labeled 'hair metal' back then. | |

| Never saw Nelson but I have seen The Stone Canyon All-Stars with the wifey a few years back. Gunnar was in that band and they even did some of his dad's tunes. _________________ | |

| So hey, I found Nelson's AFTER THE RAIN disc at a yard sale this past weekend, and it was only a quarter so I picked it up for gits and shiggles. I always did kinda sorta like the title track. As for the rest... whooo boy, this thing is so sickeningly sweet it damn near gave me diabetes. - Eyesore wrote:

pretty much sums it up. This band was basically a nice, safe "My First Rock Band" kit aimed at ten year old girls. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
