Why not? Just save your money! Tickets are still available! HammerFall is headlining the second night and Kamelot the first!

Kind of indifferent to this year's lineup..wouldn't mind seeing Kamelot and HammerFall but don't want to enough to go..

Last Years was Awesome from what I heard Orphaned Land came played and went home all in the same day.

I would love to, but I don't think I'm anywhere near.

IMO, OL was the second worst band last year at PPUSA X. I was highly disappointed by their lackluster performance. 3/10

I don't see why they don't do this kind of thing in LA. I guess Georgia is that much more prog.

We are actually very heavily power. it's more like 75 power/25 prog, especially this year.

I'm looking deeper into this...so many bands I love are playing.

When do the shows typically begin on the main days?

So I stayed up 'til midnight (way past bedtime for me) crunching numbers.

1- Flight, (reasonable) Hotel, (economy) Car = $650

2- Tickets = $130

3 - Food and Parking (plus other misc.) = $100

4 - Merchandize = $100 minimum

5 - Total = $980

Between gas, tickets and food I can usually do a Ft. Worth concert for $50 (not counting band merchandize) so this would equate to 15-20 Ft. Worth area concerts. So, as cool as it would be, I can't do this.

I am local and I still spend anywhere from $300-$500 a year for this festival, but it's well worth it!

Too much money especially with me going to school and working part time. All these cool events like this are out of reach. Only big music events around here are country or modern music (they have these modern Christian festivals here and Edgefest). We did have the first Gigantour but that's all I've had access to.
