Eddie Ojeda Emergeny Back Surgery

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - Twisted Sister guitarist Eddie Ojeda is recuperating from emergency back surgery that forced him to miss the band's concert Wednesday night near Philadelphia.

Ojeda experienced intense pain that prevented him from standing or sitting, went to a hospital and had surgery to repair a ruptured disc, according to bandmate Jay Jay French. Dan McCafferty, who played guitar in singer Dee Snider's solo band, was pressed into duty as a last-minute replacement at the Keswick Theater.

French says Ojeda is feeling better and hopes to perform at the band's Sunday night concert at New York's Nokia Theater. If he can't, McCafferty will fill in there as well.

"Under The Blade," Twisted Sister's first hit, was written about Ojeda's throat surgery in the 1970s.

I hope this is nothing too serious.

Ruptured discs are bad. They can paralyze you. Hope he is ok.

I found a bunch of those in a $2 bin back in the day, sold all of them for a hefty profit on eBay.

Haha. Everyone has flooded the market at this point.

One time I flooded the local market with Pee Wee's Big Adventure Soundtracks. Camelot in the mall had them in the cutout bin for 50 cents. I bought all of them. Took them to a used CD place that would buy anything and pay 5 bucks a CD. When the girl was looking over my stuff she said to another worker "Where is everyone getting these Pee Wee Herman CD's?" so obviously I wasn't the first to do it but probably the last. They bought all 10 copies I brought in

Dee Snider sings on a ripping cover of The Beatles 'Elenore Rigby" too. Aside from that, like Freddy says, it's meh. Not great but not terrible either. If I remember correctly, it's half pure instrumental and half with vocals. Worth a pick-up if you can find it cheap I suppose.
