Green Day

I'll be curious as to how you feel about 21st Century Breakdown because IMO, it's a lot different from the early days of Green Day.

It definitely has its moments but I also think its nowhere near as consistent as the early stuff.

I have a feeling on the whole, I will like their early stuff better - simply because I love simplicity and really like some pop/punk.

When stuff starts getting more progressive, I like it - but sometimes not as much as simplicity.

Okay ... verdict is in. I spun "21st Century Breakdown" all the way through yesterday - and I must say, I like it! It's a good album. Quite an undertaking, and there's a lot of depth there.

So far, I'm still preferring "Dookie" though.

But this is a good, solid concept album.

I'd rate it an 8/10
Whereas I'd rate "Dookie" an 8.25/10

I recently listened to 21st Century Breakdown again and my opinion of it has improved. I actually like it better than American Idiot now. Still not as good as the early stuff though.

I liked the popular songs from Dookie, and i like Geek Stink Breath hate the video but the song kicks!

That's a very good song. One of my favorites from Green Day.
