Someone videotaped part of the show... wasn't me. We were on the other side in front of Neal Casal. Adam, the keyboard player, was kick-ass!!!! Never heard him play like that in the Black Crowes. He was like a cross between Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea(I swore I heard "Call It Anything" at one point). Got to talk to Adam... Waaaay cool guy!

Saw Hellbastard & PanzerBastard (Boston) the night before last, my own Suicide Watch were also ment to be on the bill but the guitarist was knocked off his bike the morning before.

^^^ just got back from it, supported by sentinel beast (cool female fronted power/thrash) and acephalix (local crust punk/death metal band ive been wanting to see). sick performances by all.

Dude!!! Just found out yesterday that KISS are coming to the glorious land of Lincon!!! July 18th ''The hottest show on earth'' invades Springfield Il. I am stoked! Walking distance from my house!! I saw them back in the late 80's during Crazy Nights. But never with make up. It's gonna RULE!!!!!

the lineup is beefier and more genre varied (within metal) this year, i think itd be worth your while. plus, theres actually parking!
my next show is a two day exposition of black twilight circle bands supported by local groups. (some southern california black metal circle ive not yet investigated....i hoped to listen to a compilation before the shows but time has been sparse.)
friday - volahn, arizmenda, kuxan suum, blue hummingbird on the left, orhima, sutekh hexen saturday - ashdautas, black f*cking cancer, dolorvotre, shataan, mortuous, sutekh hexen

Saw Holy Grail and Cauldron last night in Columbus. Both bands put on a great show for the 50 or so of us that came out to see them. I scored a bunch of merch - 4 shirts and two patches including a Cauldron Canadian Assault back patch. Both bands also signed all my cd booklets and hung out both before and after the show with the fans. Jason Decay even jumped on stage during Holy Grail's last song and sang some backing vocals. I can't stress enough how friendly and genuinely appreciative both bands were to have people come out to see them. It was definitely worth the two hour drive. I just wish I hadn't forgotten my Goathorn stuff for Jason to sign. Also, all the guys in Holy Grail were shocked I had their Improper Burial EP and were thrilled to sign it.

Maybe Front Line Assembly, and Queensryche are the only 2 coming this way this year that I know of.
