Zip up the files using Winzip or 7zip. Go to http://www.megaupload.com/. Browse your computer for where you placed that zip file, add a description to the Megaupload page and upload it. When it's done uploading, you will get a link that you provide to your swap mate.

I'm running linux on my machine. I will have to figure out how to zip the file.

If the files were already on my computer and were various bitrates of MP3's and I zip them up, will I loose much in sound quality? A quick response would be very helpful as I am trying to accomplish this now. Sound quality doesn't make that much difference to me as my headphones are Bose, they sound good no matter what, besides my ears have taken 58 years of abuse.

I doubt you'd lose much sound quality, if any really. I've done this a few times and never had complaints about sound quality afterwards.
