Hmm, I think Sacred Warrior had better songs. Maybe so, but that's who I thought of when I heard this. Like their "Master's Command" era stuff. Certainly didn't remind me of Manowar at all. |

| I have been building my Metalium collection slowly. While in Europe last weekend, I found chapter vi for a very low price (less than 5 euros). Haven't given it a spin yet as i have been busy with the other albums that i have picked up. What's your verdict on chapter vi anyways? | |

| Never heard anything past Chapter 4. I have 1-4, and the first one is still probably my favourite. Then maybe Chapter Four... but I haven't given the others a spin in a long time now.
I think the 2nd and 3rd albums had too many uninspired songs. In a scene so saturated it felt like they didn't have much to offer. But there's some real class songs hidden in there, if you find their albums cheap.

| I have them all up to Nothing To Undo (Chapter 6) and think they are all pretty good. They have a been there, done that feel to them though. It may get tiresome to some but it doesn't bother me that much. | |

Paragon are simply amazing. I own all of their albums. Stormwarrior and Cannon are also highly recommended. Classic old school German metal .

| I was originally interested in Metalium because Chris Caffery played for them on the first album, and I'm a Caffery fanboy. Mike Terrana from Rage was also on it.
Unfortunately they don't quite utilize Caffery's style to its fullest. Metalium could have been a lot grittier and less like other bands. I don't think Caffery ended up writing any of the songs. And especially beyond the first CD, there's that very basic power metal sound all around.
I think this band had the potential to be so much better. Now they are just one of many. A very good band, very skilled at what they do, but they are followers, rather than leaders of the movement.

| I have all of their albums and really like them. Henning Basse is definitely one of the best power metal singers around, and I'm glad he found a spot in Firewind.
Chapter 6 is probably my favourite record of theirs. There are so many great songs. The first 4 are more in that speedy power metal vein and then they started slowing down. Despite that, there isn't really any order to my favourite Metalium records; it's mostly just the ones with the best songs: 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8.
Favourite Metalium songs: Steel Avenger, Accused To Be A Witch, Hero Nation (mostly just the awesome hidden track at the end), Warrior, As One, Straight Into Hell, Show Must Go On, Heavy Metal, and Lonely.
