Fans? Favorites?

Was just listening to Metalian Attack Part 1. Forgot how good this heavy metal band was. The CD portion of this collection contains a phenomenal version of "Dust in the Wind" as well.

I used to love them,and have even seen them live. But for whatever reason, I'm not that interested in them these days. Haven't got a clue why. My favorite album is still their first one.

I know what you mean. I tend to forget about them as well. However, I've had this live DCD/CD sitting in a pile to review forever and finally broke it out today. Man, it sounded great! Makes me wanna go back and revisit the other discs.

Well it has to be Part 1 for me too, Caffery is in excellent form as usual, the "Smoke on the water" cover on part 1 is great too. I don't personally like the last two releases as much as the first 2 and the jury is still out on chapter 3 for me.

I love Metalium. I have chapters 1-4 so far. Chapter one is great, i love the raw metal sound.

Their latest kicks major ass I think their best to date.

I'm a big fan. I have them all and I think that Hero Nation is probably my favorite (the first one I heard by them)

I like em a lot, I only have chapter one and two though.

Listening to As One-Chapter Four again today. I guess this one is a grower. In the past couple months I'd listen and it just wouldn't really grab me, but this time it just sounded awesome! Might have to jam it again in the Mustang on the way home from work at maximum volume!

I only have "Chapter One" but it's pretty good stuff. Haven't gotten round to investigating the other discs yet

I have one or two albums by them (chapter one and five, I think). They never blew me away, but I do like them.

I have Chapter One and it's good stuff with a couple of very strong songs....

I picked up a 2CD set of As One/Hero Nation at Virgin for the price of one CD. The first time I listened to it I had to hide my music at work so I had a little speaker for my MP3 player but I couldn't hear it too well and it sounded bland to me, so I set them aside and forgot about them. However, once I was able to listen to headphones I decided to give it another try and now I will agree with most everyone that they play real good power metal (they get better the more I listen to them) and will seek out more of their albums in the future.

Never heard them, aren't they basically a generic Manowar?

No. They don't really have that Manowar sound. More of a European speed metal sound.

No. Not really. Take a look at the song titles. No "Gods of Metal" or "Metal Warriors" or anything like that.

Actually, I said attidude and lyrics, I'll check 'em out though, since when has cheese been an issue w/metal?!

For some reason, I just cannot put Metallium and Manowar in the same category though. Manowar are like cheeze wiz. It goes great on crackers, but after a while, too much of it will make you sick. Metalium are more like a nice sharp cheddar. Nothing wrong with a big 'ol hunk of cheddar every now and then.

Who represents the crackers?

I've not heard these guys. I'll have to check them out.
