Randomness. I had no input from the band at all. Retroactive said he had no idea what he was looking at for the knight photo, couldn't make out what it was.....even after I explained it to him. lol The second one was "try something with a sword stuck in the ground". It didn't fly either evidently.

The second one would work for Place of Skulls.

Rex, I think this one would look better if you took the dragon off the top of the helmet. I could see a band in the vain of Kamelot using this.

The dragons are cool, but I couldnt tell it was a knight myself at first. I think what really makes it hard to see is the smoke thats around it. Maybe if you used a little less of it you could make him out a little better or made the knight a little brighter. I keep looking at the picture and I just noticed the horse too, didnt see that before.

I kinda thought the same thing. It took me a little bit of staring before I knew what I was looking at.

Haha I was already thinking the same thing when I first saw it, but I dont know what our plans are yet for the next album. It would be cool to use that though somehow. Since we have sort of a good friendship with Iannis Nikkou, the guy who we got our last album from we will probably use some more of his stuff.

Im actually in the works now with something else musically but I dont want to say much about it yet. So if not for Phoenix Reign possibly for this other project.

I like the 2nd one! The 1st one just looks like a bunch of pictures meshed together and doesn't look good to me. The 2nd one is very good!

I think the Knight is sick ass. The other is very cool too. Would be perfect for the booklet insides or something on the back of a CD.
