While I always found his commercials annoying, in some respects, he was comedy gold. His ads for ESPN360 were hilarious.

I'm sorry he passed away, but he was beyond annoying. As a Wisconsin fan, I was more than pissed when ESPN decided to pimp this guy on the sidelines during the UW/FSU bowl game last December. The game was already a disaster, then I had to deal with him blabbering about something. That being said, 50 years of age is way to early for one to die.

This one was a shock. As annoying as his commercials were, my family and I had begun to enjoy watching his behind-the-scenes show on Discovery "Pitchmen." Very interesting. RIP (saying this too much lately)

I was surprised to hear this yesturday. He seemed like a really nice guy. He was just on Conan O'Brien last week promoting his tv show. Thats a shame.

I had a dream goal that involved the late Mr. Mays...I wanted to develop a male crotch deodorant called "Say It Taint So"...just so he could pitch it.
