I probably like roughly the same number of songs by both bands but IMO, Motley Crue has been more consistent overall.

I didn't realized I chimed in on this thread 5 months ago and narrowly voted for Def Leppard.

That's how close this debate is for me.

That album is underated IMO. I love Corabi's vocals regardless what band he's in.

That album with Corabi is completly overlooked and underrated, but then it doesn't really sound like Motley Crue. It is a whole different animal than Theatre of Pain or Dr Feelgood.

Correct. I think that album takes the Crue out of the hair metal category and puts them in the metal genre. Corabi's voice isn't "hair metal" at all.

I prefer the Crue. I have yet to hear a Def Leppard song I enjoy.

He's supposed to come out with a solo album this year but I also heard he might be the new Velvet Revolver singer.

The rumor I heard on Velvet Revolver that it was Space Hog's vocalist that may get the gig.

I think Corabi should go solo.

Assemble a killer band of studio musicians. I think being a "voice for hire" in other bands is not doing his career any favors.

I don't know about that Toho Velvet Revolver is a high profile gig and better than playing in a scab version of Ratt.

I think he'd do god in VR, he'd add more sleaze. But a solo album would be nice.

Early Crue

I'll say Lep just because their first 3 albums were good. Motleys 3rd album was junk.

I think Def Leppard is a great group, but how can you not like....
