Best Guns & Roses Epic

In Use Your Illusion I & II G&R released some of their best material, IMO. However both had some epic songs (over 7 minutes), three that remain some of my favortie songs of ALL time. I'm talking of course about November Rain, Civil War, and Estranged. Even though it was not one I was super crazy about. Coma was also an Epic. So I'm curious to see which one everyone thinks is better? Most people seem to think that November Rain is the best but Estranged, IMO, is just that much better. The guitar solos cause me to break out the air guitar everytime (I literally have a hard time not doing air guitar when listening to that song) and the melody sits in my head for hours on end.

How come you didn't include "Don't Cry?"

I prefer Coma, don't know why but it just builds and builds. I think Don't Cry wasn't included because its not of epic length only 4-5 mins compared to the plus 7-8 mins of the others.

Really? I must have forgotten. Why does that song always seem so long when I hear it? Haha. I don't like it much; maybe that's why?

Could also be that their were 2 versions of the song one on each illusion album. So combined they are about 10 mins. Ha

I always liked Estranged the best.

i didn't like any of those songs. i always prefered their rockers, like It's So Easy.

Coma. I thought it was cool that they would record a 10- minute long song, knowing that it would never get radio airplay. At that point in their career, they could do just about anything they wanted and that track proves it. Plus its a cool song, to boot.

my all time favorite Guns and Roses song.

November Rain. Love those solos.

I also like Civil War and Estranged. "What we got here is...failure, to communicate! Some men, ya just can't reach!.."

For me it is also November Rain. But I like the others as well.

I think Coma is just a bit better. They're all great, but something about Coma really appeals to me.

I like November Rain, but my favorite song that is pseudo epic is Rocket Queen (6:13).
