I heard "Born Into This" once when it first came out and didn't dig it at all.
My Cult collection ends with "Beyond Good and Evil" and I think it'll stay that way.

Beyond Good And Evil is why I was so disappointed in Born Into This. BGAE freakin' rocks IMO and I was so psyched for a new Cult album and instead they gave us the turd that is BIT.

Yep, same here. Beyond Good & Evil was a fantastic comeback! Too bad that they couldn't keep that vibe going.

I can't put my finger on what it is exactly about the s/t album. Just too "weird" is best I can put it for now. Born Into This was kinda boring from what I remember. I'll have to pull that one out again too.

Oddly enough, Best Buy only had the cd/dvd version of the new Accept album. I could've skipped the dvd, but whatever. And the bonus tracks on the Ace disc are stupid. 2 tracks that are already on the album. In shortened, edited form. Awesome!! Razz

For me, it's Electric. They started into a more hard rock direction, opposed to the goth-rock of their past.

Sonic Temple is where it all came together and really got them noticed though. That had the Rick Rubin hits on it. If someone was looking to start, I'd point them to Sonic Temple and go from there. Electric preceded that one and has hints of what was to come, so I like that one too.
