Even the "Stars" song had some bizzare lyrics (he didnt sing all of it, but he did write it):

Dio's lyrics were poetry. Yes, sometimes nonsensical to most of us, but they were always interesting. I tend to think the more obscure the meaning the better the lyrics. Very straightforward lyrics tend to come off way cheesier than the guy singing about riding a tiger or requesting an exorcist, wizard, and holy ghost.
