Beer!

And I love doppelbocks

Currently drinking my first Great Divide Hercules Double IPA.

First impression is that it's a little hoppier than I like up front but the malts quickly kick in to offset the bitter hops taste I hate. 

It's "interesting" and definitely not a drainpour but I don't know that I'll buy this one again.

Great Divide is hit or miss, that one is an average IPA imo.

Yeah, that's about where I come down on it too.  It's OK but it's not doing much to encourage my newfound IPA appreciation.   I do like their Yeti Stout though.

Mmmmmm...4 Hands Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout

Just enough peanut butter flavor and not sickeningly sweet.

i had a Yuengling last night for the first beer in forever.

Those two are high on my list of enjoyable beers. Although I haven't had a Maudite in a while.

Picked up a six-pack of Guinness Blonde American Lager. Pretty good stuff.

I was wondering how that was.

Going with one of my favorites today:

Picked up some Widmer, Hopside Down as it was on sale. Haven't had Widmer in ages but this was good, like some Lager crispness left and not overwhelmed by the hops. I can see this being a good, warm weather beer.

Widmer makes a good Russian Imperial Stout too

Have you had Trois Pistoles? The only Belgian I like and it's very good.

Sure have!  One of my favorites from that brewery.

Local beer shop had Founder's KBS....it's good, but I prefer the plain old Breakfast Stout.
If I want Bourbon-barrel aged, I like Dragon's Milk the best.

Dang it.  I didn't know that was out.  I'll make a beer store run tomorrow but I bet it'll be gone.

And yeah, I love Dragon's Milk but it's even better if you age it for 6 months or so.

Agreed

DB, that all looks good!

I started out liking Crème Brulee but now it's just too damn sweet. Those first two are really good though DB.

I picked up 2 more Founders beers today; Old Curmudgeon (Old Ale brewed with molasses) and Double Trouble (double IPA)
