TWISTED SISTER....YOU CANT STOP ROCK N ROLL

I was just reading an article about albums that turned 30 this year and this one is on the list.... I love this album. In my opinion it is twisted sisters best most solid album... Any other thoughts?

I absolutely agree. This is my favorite TS album by far. 30 years? Wow how the time flies by...

Love it, but I think Under the Blade was their "best most solid album". You can't go wrong with either of 'em.

I prefer Under the blade. You can't kill had a cooler cover and is a very good TS album. 30 freakin' years....

Great album and like others, think "Under The Blade" is better.

I love this album, was the first Twisted Sister album I bought based on a 30 second soundbite on MTV. I have to agree this is their best album.

It would be tough for me to decide between Under the Blade and You Can't Stop RNR. They're both equally bad-ass in my book.

This was their best album in my opinion.

I always felt "Come Out And Play" was highly underrated as is "Love Is For Suckers"(thought the band has disowned the latter)

Yes, i agree. Both very good albums. LOVE IS FOR SUCKERS has that special touch that other albums like CHANGE OF ADDRESS by KROKUS, or DANGEROUS CHARM by SINNER had too.
My fave TS album will be always STAY HUNGRY, a killer album. I WANNA ROCK makes me sick a little   but the rest of the songs are very good. I also like YOU CANT STOP ROCK´N´ROLL. Have it on tape and twice on vinyl.

Come Out and Play is ok but a bit too schlocky and lacking the power and energy of the early Sister's stuff. It's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be though and has some good songs. Leader of the Pack was a bad choice as a first single for the album. I think it killed the band's momentum.

Love is For Suckers has some good songs too. The band still plays Wake Up the Sleeping Giant from this one live. It's one of the best songs on the album.

"Under the Blade" is raw, powerful, heavy and pure metal! Though they were an American band, they ended up in England and were a part of the NWOBHM scene. "Under the Blade" has some of the best songs because it is the accumulation of a decade of performing, writing and recording. They were hungry for success but they loved the underground scene. They hadn't yet become "rock stars". Same with "You Can't Stop Rock and Roll". Some of the songs on it were from the same time as "Under the Blade". I was actually surprised that the song "You Can't Stop Rock and Roll" didn't make it onto "Under the Blade" since it's such a strong anthem. I was also surprised that "Lady's Boy" didn't make "Under the Blade" or "You Can't Stop RnR" since it was such a popular song from their early years.

Under the Blade for me as well. Although You Can't Stop...is no slouch either.

This is my first and favorite TS album. It rocks hard the whole way thru. I have not heard it in awhile but I just started buying the TS discography again and this one is next on the list to get.
