Nine years ago today

R.I.P. Chuck Schuldiner.

That sucks I had no idea it had been nine years, meet him a couple of times even had a few brews with him at the old Ritz theatre in Tampa, was very nice guy, we weren't friends but we did get to hang out in various venues during that time.

Manny, that's so cool! I've appreciated Chuck's music more and more as I've gotten older. Memory eternal.

Can't believe it has been that long. Always hurts to think about all the great music he had left to give. Will spin Spiritual Healing in memorial. One of my absolute favorite records.

Death are still missing from my collection. I need to start buying their albums.

I'd start out with Spiritual Healing. Actually there is a boxset which comes with all of their pre-Symbolic / Sound of Perseverance albums. It's a bit hard to track but it's well worth looking into it. I saw it as low as 40 bucks and that's pretty good for 5 albums!
