These two albums tied for the blue ribbon. I can't pick one over the other.

Wow, I never noticed it before, but that's quite a dong ol' Icarus is sporting on that cd.

Might be SIT by Maiden but it could be RIP by Megadeth.

If I have to choose i would go with Keldian - Heavens Gate.

'Heaven's Gate' always makes me think of summer. Something about the tones or the production and just some of the songs themselves, just lend themselves to this period in the summer where I'm just driving around by myself.

It is refreshing and uplifting. Those are the two adjectives I would use.

What generally makes you prefer it over the second Keldian album? For me they're so close but I just dislike the filler on the debut a little bit more.. I don't like 'Prophecy' at all...and 'Beyond the Stars' seems too short..

I think it is mostly because I listened the heck out of the first one. I agree that it and the second are so close. This band is must have blind buy for me.
