7th Reign

Listening to their debut CD right now. I guess they have another one on the way soon.

Anyway, this is pretty good stuff. A bit like EIDOLON I guess but not as heavy. Pretty enjoyable. Some technical leads. Not many exceptional riffs or drumming licks but overall it is a relatively enjoyable package with a professional sound. The singer here sounds better than he did in EIDOLON IMHO.

I think it's pretty safe to assume this is a Christian band although their lyrics are pretty subtle.

I'm interested in checking out their next album when it comes out.

Yeah, Brian Soulard emailed me a while back to see if I was interested in the upcoming sophomore album. Apparently it was supposed to be out on June 2nd, so maybe it is already available.

I also agree with ToB that this is a vey good album, that probably went under the radar for most metalheads out there. It's a good blend of American and to a degree European power metal. Bands like Eidolon and Recon comes to mind. Good stuff.

I liked the stuff I heard on their Myspace, but honestly haven't picked up the album yet. Is it all as good as the tracks they have up?

That depends on what tracks they have up...... :p

Sriosuly though, the material is quite consistent.
