| I do not mean a 1982 album you bought on cassette an hour ago when you already own a 1984 cassette. I mean of all the cassettes you own, which one was the most recently recorded. I have Anonymus - Ni Vu, Ni Connu, a 1994 album (although it is the 1996 pressing) on cassette. | |

| I have a couple of Cannonball Corpse tapes (Vile and Gallery, I think) that are probably the newest issued ones I own. But the most recently that I have purchased cassettes (used) was last year.

| Hmm, I'm not sure. I think the last "new" cassette I bought was Savatage's EDGE OF THORNS, which was what, 1993? I already had a CD player at that time but for some reason I bought that one on cassette when it first came out. (Probably didn't have enough $ for the CD at the time and wanted to hear it right away, haha) I also bought the Deliverance and Die Happy editions of the "Intense Live Series" EP's on cassette when they first came out, then upgraded them to CD later. | |

| I don't remember ever buying a brand new cassette, though I probably did at some point. I have a cassette player in my truck, so I am still an active user | |

| I remember going out to buy GnR's "Use Your Illusion" 1 & 2 because I didn't have a cd player at the time. There was probably a purchse or 2 after that, but wow, I can't remember the last time I purchased a tape. | |

| I bought only two tapes new, but I haven’t any of them yet. The last one was Motörhead – Iron Fist in 1982. This one was replaced later with a vinyl and then many years later with a CD. I still have both the vinyl and the CD. | |

Wow, that's pretty recent. I would not have thought an album like that could have come out on cassette. I can't remember if I ever made any cassette purchases, but I did see a cassette version of 311's Transistor once at the Wherehouse as far back as 1997. Haven't seen a cassette release since.

I saw Anonymus - Instinct, a 1999 release, on cassette once, although I don't own it. That's the most recent metal cassette I've seen.
