I will PM eyesore and XYZ tonight and I am going to consider the Mott the Hopple thread inactive but will keep it open if DC ever gets back to this thread

I Pm'ed Dave the Boss to begin his thread and PM'd eyesore and XYX on their threads and if they will be able to continue them.

Ok, I need to start paying more attention and contributing. Very busy lately

I was looking at the list - I thought I had King;s X?

Could somebody inform me when it's my turn? I didn't realize my time was so close and I have yet to start anything.

I understand that it is a lot of work to do these threads, but why start if you don`t keep it going? The Quiet Riot seems to have stopped, not to mention Mott The Hoople .
I also hope Slayer is coming soon, but please hand it to someone else then DC

I almost drive mine based upon time, not the number of posts, for that reason.

Looks like Spec has left again, his postings are listed as guest again!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently also been defriended on FB, and I thought he and I were on friendly terms. I like the guy but WTF !!!!!!

Needless to say I will take over the Quiet Riot thread

Not a problem, same thing with Megadeth, I just needed a break from here.

As an addition to the established "one person per band" idea, how about adding in a "one person per album" variation? That way multiple people get to write about a band they like without being on the hook to author an entire discography. Might be easier for some of us busy folks to contribute more.

Step One: Pick a popular band that we haven't done yet.
Step Two: once the band is selected, then we'll open up enrollment for an album, first come first serve.
Step Three: Manny or I will then create the discography thread with the list of authors in the first post.

or something like that.

Okay, I'll start the "sign up thread".

I know I don't post here much, and I know the two bands I'm about to petition about aren't very popular (anyone hear who likes them, feel free to chime in), but could I do the first few Tygers of Pan Tang and UFO Albums? And others could do the ones after the ones I'm familiar with.

Note: Let it be known that I have never done reviews before, so it may take me some time if I can muster up the valor to actually do it.

I plan to complete the Quiet Riot thread soon, I do not own most of their albums so I have to listen them online so it is taking me longer to complete.

I know Eyesore is planning on firing up his Def Leppard thread as is Addy with David Bowie.

Mr. Electric do you need help with the AC/DC thread?

I am not familiar with the band Manilla Road if the author could let us know what the status of that thread is please.
