Listening to "Throw Away Children" fom Dio's 'Killing The Dragon', I started wondering; how many other metal songs contains a childrens choir? I can't think of a single one.

Several songs by Aina on their only CD have a children's choir singing on them. That's all I can think of really.

You can hear a children's choir at the beginning of the title track on Savatage's "Streets" (and I believe they turn up several other times throughout the album)
KISS "Great Expectations" on DESTROYER has a children's choir in it as well.

I cant think of any metal ones but a few come to mind.

I love the children choir in songs it sounds amazing and really adds a different dimension to the song. In all these songs when the children start singing I'm mesmerized

Ah yes, Freedom Call definitely has one in 'Innocent World'. Brilliantly cheesy when the kids come in.
