As 2008 comes to a close, I realize this year has kind of sucked for me. Had some good moments, but overall not very satisfying. How did it treat you guys?

Not a totally horrible year, but not a great one either. The economic troubles took their toll on our finances but so far we're still scrapin' by. On the other hand, I didn't break any bones, both of my kids are healthy, and nobody close to me died. I suppose I can't really ask for much more than that.

Just glad I lived through it. In other words, just like all the other years I've had.

2008 saw me make one of the dumbest choices so far in my life. But with that choice i wouldn't have met the woman i did.

I also started recording demo version of about 30 songs i have written. Hopefully in 2009 i can get a band together and share them with the world

This year sucked for me, my father passed away in April, the economic situation has taken a toll on our budget also, and to end the year my wife maybe facing a horrible medical situation.

On the bright side, I am still employed, my children are healthy and I joined this board, and I am sure things will be better in the New Year.

My 401K took a beating and remains in the toilet but I survived a round of layoffs and can still put food on the table and pay for the roof over my head and I'm healthy so I'm not complaining.

Stupidity=Constantly doing the same behavior and expecting different results.

That was my "mantra" for 2008, was supposed to help me focus and overcome the basic traps I always set for myself and walk into...but as I sit here on the last day of the year (with that trap clamped onto my leg) I realize that I didn't invest enough into making it work.

It sucked as i was depressed for most of the year right up until about a week ago, now everything looks cheery.
