Favorite GARY MOORE albums?

Hey Gary Moore fans. What are some of your favorite GM albums?

I think my personal favorite is "Back on the Streets", probably because Phil Lynott was so heavily involved in it.

So "Run for Cover"? Phil Lynott was involved in that album as well.

I'm only familiar with his blues material. But of those cd's, I'd probably pick Still Got the Blues. This was my first introduction to the man. I'm also a big fan of the Blues for Greeny album, but I'm hesitant to count that one as a favorite GARY MOORE album because it's all covers. Outstanding playing though. His new album Bad for You Baby is very good too, if you like his blues-rock stuff.

I prefer his blues period "Still Got the Blues' and I also like the only album he did with Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce as BBM " Around the Next Dream".

I love everything he did up to his blues albums.
Hard to rate them but Victims of The Future and Wild Frontier are the ones i listen the most to.
Also love the live album We Want Moore.

We Want Moore is fantastic.

I like his blues stuff but I much prefer his rock/metal stuff.

Yeah, i like the blues stuff ok, just no where near the greatness of his early albums.

I can't think of a Gary Moore album I don't like, but my favorite would probably be Victims Of The Future.

(...Or maybe We Want Moore. The last solo on Empty Rooms is so drenched with emotion it'll make a statue cry.)

Anyone have any opinions on "After the war" ? I like it alot, but I'd pick "Wild Frontier" as my favourite album by Gary.

His Skid Row(UK) stuff was pretty good too, very Cream-like. 34 Hours was maybe the best.

- I like most of his work, but prefer his blues records. His new record "Bad for You Baby" is pretty good.

Great album!!
Not a bad song on it, the title song, the instrumentals and blood of emeralds are my favourite songs..
Too bad it gave Gary the blues ha ha ha

The only two I have. Heard Shapes of Things on the radio one day and was blown away. I went and bought both albums the same day and that was when Victims of the Future was a new release. I need to get both of them on cd and catch up on the rest of his catalog. Gary Moore is a really good guitarist with a lot of soul.

Gary’s live album.
All his studio albums were great. A Belfast master.
I recall in high school, my drummer went and saw him live.
Gary was the opening act.
He saw Gary in the hallway ! Shook hands. Smiled.
A class act. That I know. Died at age 58 in his sleep.
