I love Syd Barrett's solo material, it is sad, hopeful and child like at the same time. I hope one day David Gilmour ( who co produced this album with Richard Wright) writes a book one day, the chapter on making " Madcap Laughs" and " Barrett" would be worth the price of admission alone.
