Blows against the empire is one of my favorite albums. I've not heard that Kantner, Slick, and Freiberg but it sounds like a very interesting combination. Maybe I should drag out some Quicksilver Messenger Service.

I notice a lot of folks here listening to Classic Rock and even psychedelic stuff from the '60's. Funny thing is I remember Neil Young's Cowgirl in the Sand and Down By the River being amongst the heaviest sounds of those days. Nowdays that would be considered mellow.
