I like The Chosen Ones best but the whole thing is great. The lyrics really are cheesy but the music rips! _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

My favorite Jethro Tull album. It's a great one, although I'd probably pick Stand Up, Minstrel In The Gallery or Songs From The Wood as my favorites. |

I compared this album to Hamlet for a speech in English class once. I got an A on the paper, and a side note for creativity! | |

All excellent albums, 'Stand Up" really bluesy and had the first appearance of Martin Barre on the axe Stand Up has some absolutely brilliant songs on it. The song "Reasons For Waiting" is one of my all-time favorites by ANY band, simply, sublimely beautiful. "Back To The Family" has such truthful lyrics, we all get home sick but once we get there the reality is never what we imagined. "Bouree" is still genius, "Fat Man" brought in the folk elements along with the skewed British humor. Barre gave Anderson the perfect foil. |
