| Freddie and Eric both passed away within 24 hours of each other, if memory serves. That was a rough weekend for rockers.
I was in college at the time and I remember coming into the dorm after a night's partying and the security guy behind the desk said "Hey, did you hear about the guy from KISS?" I had no idea what he was talking about so he showed me the article in that day's paper. I was drunk as a skunk at the time and I believe I cried a little. He let me clip the article out and I hung it on the door to my dorm room. For all I know I may still have that clipping somewhere. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I remember when Freddie Mercury died, that day's paper had announced that Freddie Mercury had A.I.D.S. Later that evening my friend had called to tell me Freddie Mercury had died, I thought it was strange so I called the radio station and they confirmed the news, and the spanish station Telemundo did a half hour special on him the next day.
What a loss and is one of the greatest vocalist in rock history. | |

| The earliest death I can remember in music was Criss Oliva (about a month after I became a fan w/ Edge Of Thorns), those two legends passed away while I was still a neborn hard rock fan. I do however, realize what a great loss they were. R.I.P. to them and any others we've lost along the way. | |
