Midnight Syndicate/Nox Arcana

So I was at the Halloween superstore yesterday getting boas with my wife (don't ask), and everything was half off (like little boys pants at the Michael Jackson store), but I digress. They had a couple of CDs from the Midnight Syndicate and Nox Arcana. For those who don't know, they play Halloween type music. Gothic, dark, with sound FX, etc. I picked up "Shadow of the Raven" by Nox Arcana which is music inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's tales and "Vampyre" by Midnight Syndicate. Not bad for $12.99 for both.

Anyone else dig these "bands"?

Yes i've heard them. I've seen their stuff at the Halloween stores for years. Some of it is good atmospheric, spooky stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if these records didn't partly inspire that Dee Snider Halloween thing.
