Yea, Jennifer Gray was pretty hot. Even if she did have a schnoz like a giant dorsal fin. That chick could eat a footlong hot dog in the rain and it wouldn't feel a drop. Her nose was so big, it had it's own Zip code. Her nose was so big, it turned the corner 2 minutes before the rest of her. Her nose was so big, Patrick Swayze had to practice lifting it first. Her nose was so big, you couldn't put that Baby in the corner. Her nose was so big, when she took a deep breath at the beach, the tides came in. Her nose was so big, she used a bed sheet for a hanky. Her nose was so big, they modeled Toucan Sam after her. Her nose was so big...
Wait, what was this thread about again?

Oh.
Yea, she's no Jennifer Grey, but she's pretty hot too. I guess. Must be those hungry eyes.

Eric Carmen's the man....and don't forget it.
Although that part of his career...and hair were pretty bad.
But the Raspberries and Eric's early solo career rocked.....

Um, i wouldn't quite say that "rocks". It's typical 70's radio stuff (frampton worship).

Frampton worship, pfft.
If you didn't have the Raspberries you wouldn't have Cheap Trick, simple as that.
Hugely important and influential band, on everyone from Nirvana to Motley Crue to Bruce Springsteen.
The Raspberries are out and out legends.

The band broke up on April 19, 1975, but their sound had been distinctive and their influence was lasting. Since they were one of the very few bands of the original power pop generation who had multiple hits, the power pop movement of the late 1970s would likely not have developed as it did without them. Their influence can be heard in artists and bands like Cheap Trick, The Rubinoos, The Knack, The Romantics, Teenage Fanclub, Enuff Z'Nuff, Tommy Keene, and Redd Kross. Bruce Springsteen praised the Raspberries at several stops during his Summer 2005 tour
Funny thing is i don't care for any of the bands that were influenced by the "Rasberries". I like some songs by Cheap Trick but that's not saying much.

That's all right.....just saying they can't be reduced to "standard 70's radio stuff" or "Frampton worship", their way better and more important then that.
Based on his work in the Raspberries, Eric Carmen is a songwriting genius.
They mixed Hard Rock and Pop like no other band before them.
I wouldn't be surprised if the guys in Trouble were influenced by the Raspberries, knowing they grew up in the 70's and their predilection for music Beatlesque.

Could be... but it doesn't reflect in their music at all.

That's alright, was just talking about one of my favourite bands with someone.....but you can carry on talking about musicians hair and clothes. I'm sure there's some great Cher fashion and hair shockers you can look up on youtube and post on here if you haven't already done so.....since you like doing that and stuff.

If you don't like laughing at 80s fashion stay on the music forum. Sorry that I was right, you have no sense of humor. There isn't much to debate here.
As you can see, I'm not the only one laughing at this, but you are the only one being completely serious.
