Because they're creepy and venomous. Well actually i'm only afraid of Black Widows and Brown Recluse spiders the other ones are just creepy.

Ever see one of those spiders that "jump"? I encountered one on the antenna of my car one day when I was waxing it. That little monster would maneuver around the antenna so he could keep facing me. That gave me the creepiest feeling.

I love those. I love spiders. Rarely do I want them on me, but I'm very fascinated by them.

I was fascinated by them as a kid. My brother and I would spend hours out in the yard picking up ants and throwing them into spider webs so we could watch the spider come out of the hole and wrap up the struggling ant.

Now, they just creep me out.

Snakes!Not the little garden variety you find around your house but the poisonous type like Rattlesnakes and copperheads.

I like snakes. I steer clear of poisonous ones but I still think they're cool.

I dont mind them as long as they keep their distance.But when one gets close to me I just freeze up.
