Turns out Graham was one of the kids who sang at the beginning of Beige Sunshine when we recorded Metaphysical Graffiti, one of the three records we did in Austin all those years ago. Yeah, they've played out a few times since they broke up, but I think the last time was at in tribute to Dave, who had just commited suicide.

One of the first songs I ever wrote was called "The Cows That Killed 'Em." It was a tribute to the Milkmen. I'm gonna go see if I can find the lyrics. I was like 12, so it's laaaaaaame.

spirit was trapped inside an old Nana Shepard's bottle that Mom picked
out of the dumpster behind the 7-11. Mom brought the bottle inside and
sat it down on top of the TV. Then she told all of us kids to gather
round, and then she explained how Jesus lived in the bottle, and how,
if she wanted to, she could call him out to do her bidding. Sis said it
reminded her of an old TV show, and Mom slapped her and called her a
heretic. I didn't say anything, cause I just still remember the time
outside the Safeway, when it took 4 security guards to hold Mom down.

No way. I love it. Leggo My Ego, Let's Get The Baby High, Little Volcano, and The Woman Who Was Also A Mongoose are some of my favorite DM tracks.
