put them in the TOOL box thats the only place they would have a good use. Not a huge tool fan here. I like a few songs but thats a lot of tool.

For the LP nuts in residence:

If you're considering getting the Metallica reissues, the $16.98 single LP versions are fine...the 180 gram 45 RPM versions are actually rather superfluous.

I was able to do a side by side comparison of both versions of Master Of Puppets this weekend and the difference is negligible...the 45RPM version had a little lower noise floor (due most likely to the higher grade vinyl) but there were actually more pops and pressing defects present on the more expensive version. Since they cost almost double the price of the single LP versions I can't recommend them. The gatefold packaging is nice...but it's not worth an additional $14.

Kill 'Em All actually sounds the best out the series, Master of Puppets sounds good but gets a little noisy near the end of each side (that's a long album)...Ride The Lighting sounded really good but it also had a much higher noise floor than the other two.

But...boy does Fade To Black sound good on vinyl...it's been years since I've heard that in LP format and the acoustic guitars just fill the room.

Nice! I saw March Of The Saint on vinyl the other day, almost bought it but I'm saving up for a new TV at the moment.

I got Kill 'em all and Ride the lightening a while back on ebay brand new. They werent that expensive so I got the double LP versions and I listened to them and I didnt hear any difference between the vinyl or the cd. The record player I also got on ebay and I think there might be something wrong with it but I havent had time to sit and examine the stupid thing to figure out if its me or the player or even if its the way I hooked it up to my stereo. Also the cord thats attached to the player is so damn short and where I have it is no wheres near my stereo. So I got frustrated and gave up. One thing tha is annoying about he double LP is you have to flip it over after 2 songs lol. They look nice though lol
