| Love his stuff! His S/T rules but so does his work with other bands like Blue Oyster Cult. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Yep. His songwriting and guitar style is all over "Take Me Away". _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| That song is great. Actually, I think "Revolution By Night" is underrated period.
Lots of great songs on there. Take Me Away, Veins, BOC and the un-Cultlike Shooting Shark to name a few. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I won the s/t Aldo Nova album a week earlier from a radio station contest. Man, I played that album to death for a couple weeks after that. I havent heard it since but I do catch "Fantasy" every once in a while.

Saw him open for Cheap Trick a month before that. My second concert ever. Life long fan!! Btw, Blood on the Bricks is an AWESOME album. Twitch was his weakest effort, as he showed none of his guitar mastery on that one at all. |

| About Aldo Nova's work with Bluer Öyster Cult, Randy Jackson from the "American Idol" jury played the bass on the studio recording of "Shooting Shark".
Some other info about "Idol" and Aldo Nova: He worked together with the Swedish 2007 (I think) "Idol" winner Agnes Carlsson and wrote one song on her debut album.
About just Aldo Nova, he is great! I love his first solo album. Melodic, rocking and catchy stuff.

| Aldo Nova I have thought about dude's music in years, I owned his self titled debut on vinyl for years and I remember liking it, than one day I got rid of it, I may have to reinvest time looking into his music and back catalog. Another artist to add to my never ending list. | |

| Yep, I'm a fan - although I currently only own his 'Portrait Of...' best of. I've been meaning to grab his debut for awhile now - I actually ordered one from secondspin once, but I guess someone snagged it before they had a chance to remove it from the site. I got refunded of course, but no CD. The follow ups (aside from Blood On The Bricks) seem to go for a fair bit of money now. | |

| I've been a fan ever since I first saw their "Fastasy" video back in June 1982, a couple of weeks after we first got MTV here. I saw them open up for Scorpions and Great White at the Peoria Civic Center in June 1991. Great show. | |

UNCLE SAXON'S KICKASS CDS Metal is in my blood

| My second concert ever. Night before Thanksgiving 1983, opening for Cheap Trick [with a band from Iowa called The Litterer Band - If you know anything about melodic metal, you will have heard of them]. Kinda of a strange story - I was 14 and my mom made me wear her old blue parka with the orange lining and fur around the hood, or I could not walk downtown for the show. Long story short? SERIOUS blizzard on the walk home. We also bought some "Tai Stick" that ended up being cinnamon sticks. Stupid kids.
Point of the story? I have been a lifelong Aldo fan, Moms know best, and I still think Blood on the Bricks is a kickass album.

| Just scored Aldo's "Blood On The Bricks" CD dirt cheap... I haven't owned any of his stuff since I had his s/t debut (the one with "Fantasy") on cassette back in junior high. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I finally bought his self titled last year, after not hearing the album in decades. Sounded good but more dated than I remember. | |
